Coconut Grove Context
Coconut Grove remains one of Miami’s most sought-after neighborhoods for modern family living. Known for its mature greenery, walkability, and proximity to top private schools, the Grove offers a unique balance between urban access and residential calm.
Wave House responds directly to this context, embracing privacy, landscape, and a slower residential rhythm while maintaining a distinctly contemporary architectural identity.
Design Concept & Living Experience
The architectural proposal reimagines how residents live, relax, and connect—with each other and with nature. Conceived as an intimate, resort-like home, Wave House integrates architecture, landscape, and interior design into a cohesive living environment that supports both daily routines and moments of retreat.
Soft curves are introduced strategically to counterbalance the home’s clean geometry, bringing warmth and fluidity to the overall composition.
Resort-Level Wellness Amenities
Wellness is central to the design of Wave House. The home incorporates resort-level amenities that elevate everyday living into a continuous retreat.
Key features include a large swimming pool for relaxation and recreation, a hot pool for therapeutic use, a private sauna, and a fully equipped gym. These elements are not treated as add-ons, but as integral components of the architectural experience—supporting physical well-being, mental clarity, and long-term lifestyle value.
Interior Architecture & Atmosphere
Interior spaces are designed to be elegant, calm, and immersive, with a strong connection to the surrounding environment. Natural light, controlled views, and material restraint create interiors that feel both contemporary and timeless.
The interior architecture reinforces the project’s core principles: clarity of space, continuity of materials, and a quiet sophistication that allows the home to be lived in—not just observed.
Permitting & Project Execution
One of the defining achievements of Wave House is the speed and efficiency of its permitting process. From concept design to permit approval, the project advanced in approximately seven months—a notable accomplishment for a high-end residential project in Miami’s complex regulatory environment.
This accelerated timeline reflects a disciplined design process, deep local experience, and close coordination with consultants and authorities.
