Modern Farmhouse Architecture for Coconut Grove
Inspired by the simplicity of traditional barn structures, the architectural concept translates familiar forms into a refined modern language. Pitched roofs and straightforward massing are softened through natural wood cladding, deep overhangs, and seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces.
Large floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces frame views of the surrounding greenery while reinforcing a constant visual connection to the outdoors. Material continuity and restrained detailing ensure that every architectural element feels intentional and cohesive.
Outdoor Living and Elevated Wellness
Outdoor living is central to the design of Grove Barn House. Multiple terraces and shaded outdoor spaces extend the living areas beyond the interior, supporting a lifestyle centered on openness, relaxation, and social connection.
A second-floor pool, integrated into an elevated terrace, introduces a private wellness experience with a resort-like atmosphere. The pool’s discreet placement enhances the overall architectural composition while preserving the home’s clean, minimal aesthetic.
A separate guest house complements the main residence, providing flexibility, privacy, and independence for visitors while reinforcing the concept of a residential compound rather than a single isolated structure.
Designed for Contemporary Grove Living
Grove Barn House reflects a modern interpretation of residential architecture in Coconut Grove—where thoughtful design, natural materials, and indoor–outdoor continuity come together to create a home that is both expressive and calm.
This project embodies Ginard Studio’s approach to luxury residential architecture: buildings with soul, designed to perform beautifully in both form and function.
