Alex Ginard shares his journey as artist
Before embarking on my architectural journey, I used to draw all the time. When I became an architect, despite the array of advanced software and tools I have in our office enabling us to create stunning renderings, virtual walks, etc, there's something significant on my desk – a 6B graphite pencil. I still use it for crafting quick sketches to share with my team and clients.

Programming in Architecture
Programming is a process. Is the process architects follows to identity the goals and needs of the client, but also to make research and collect data regarding to the project site, code compliance and local ordinances.
Since this is not part of the design phases, the architect will not be designing anything while doing programming, but just guiding the client to make the appropriate decisions.
