When it came to defining the façade of Smart Brickell Luxe, the selection of the glass was a pivotal step — one that would determine not only the building’s visual identity but also its energy performance and the comfort of its residents.

In our Miami office, our design and technical teams gathered to review a curated collection of glass samples. Each piece represented a unique combination of color tone, reflectivity, transparency, and thermal properties. This collaborative process involved detailed discussions about how each glass option would interact with the city’s light, skyline, and climate.
Through mock-ups and side-by-side comparisons, the team analyzed how the glass behaved under different lighting conditions — from the warm glow of morning sun to the reflective tones of the Miami sunset.

Our goal was to find a tone that would complement the building’s elegant geometry and modern proportions, offering a refined, seamless appearance when viewed from the street. At the same time, we prioritized materials that meet the highest standards of sustainability and durability, ensuring long-term performance in Miami’s coastal environment.
